Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery in Cradley Heath who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, Monday-Friday basis.
The Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning, development and daily routines
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children's personal care needs
- Working in line with the EYFS framework
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
- Encouraging positive relationships and social development
- Maintaining a safe, welcoming and stimulating nursery environment
- Working closely with colleagues, parents and other professionals
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
- Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
- Paediatric First Aid is desirable
- Reliable, professional and enthusiastic approach
