We are looking for 5 enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join three fantastic specialist schools in Oxford. These are exciting temp-to-perm opportunities for people who are passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and helping them achieve their potential.
You do not necessarily need previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant. We are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable skills and experience from other backgrounds, particularly those who have worked with or supported children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
The ideal candidate
- Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Youth Worker
- Support Worker, Care Worker or Healthcare Assistant
- Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner
- Behaviour Support Worker or Residential Support Worker
- Sports Coach, Activity Leader or Youth Mentor
- Tutor, Classroom Volunteer or Cover Supervisor
- Parent/carer with relevant experience and a genuine passion for supporting children
- Candidate from a customer service, hospitality, retail or other people-focused role with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with SEN, autism, ADHD, complex needs or challenging behaviour would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right candidate.
