The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged. Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently. Supporting students with their learning where appropriate. Following school policies and safeguarding procedures. Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons. We are looking for Cover Supervisors who are: Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students. Reliable, professional and adaptable. Passionate about education and supporting young people. Able to build positive relationships with students. Calm and confident when managing behaviour. Comfortable working across different school environments. Available for regular or flexible work. Previous experience working in a school is desirable but not essential. Experience in tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work or other roles involving young people will also be considered.
