The Role As an Engineering Lecturer, your responsibilities will include: * Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality engineering lessons. * Teaching learners across a range of abilities and educational backgrounds. * Delivering practical and theoretical engineering sessions. * Supporting learners with engineering principles, technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. * Preparing students for relevant vocational and technical qualifications. * Assessing coursework, practical assignments and examinations. * Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback. * Ensuring safe working practices are followed during practical workshop activities. * Maintaining a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. * Contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities. The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for someone who: * Holds a relevant engineering qualification or degree. * Has a recognised teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one. * Has industry experience within an engineering environment. * Has strong technical knowledge and practical engineering skills. * Experience in further education or vocational teaching would be advantageous. * Has excellent communication and classroom management skills. * Can motivate, engage and inspire learners. *Is passionate about developing students' technical abilities and preparing them for careers within the engineering sector.
