Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to support achievement and development.
- Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development.
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with staff to improve teaching and learning across the school.
- Promote safeguarding, equality and the wellbeing of all pupils.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be working towards achieving it where appropriate.
- Have a sound understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be enthusiastic, creative and committed to raising educational standards.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be adaptable and passionate about supporting children from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
