**Have you worked with children but don't have a formal Teaching Assistant qualification?**
Aspire People are currently recruiting **Learning Support Assistants** to work across primary schools in Manchester.
Now that schools are back for the new academic year, we're looking to speak with people who have **recent experience working with children or young people** and want to bring those skills into a school environment.
You don't necessarily need a TA qualification.
We're interested in people who can demonstrate the right experience, attitude and ability to build positive relationships with children.
Your background could include **youth work, tutoring, mentoring, childcare, sports coaching, children's activities or previous school-based work**.
- **The Role May Include:**
- Supporting pupils within the classroom
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Assisting with Reading, Writing and Maths activities
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
- Helping children remain engaged with learning
- Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Encouraging confidence, independence and social development
- Supporting pupils during breaktimes and transitions
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
- **We're Looking For:**
- Recent experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
- Confidence working with different ages and needs
- Genuine interest in working within a primary school
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
