Aspire People are recruiting experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the local area.
We are specifically looking for candidates who hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification and have recent UK-based experience working within a primary school.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced TA looking for their next long-term, short-term or flexible school-based role.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils within EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support
- Assisting teachers with learning activities
- Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy
- Helping pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
- Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
- Working closely with class teachers and wider school staff
- Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured periods
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification
- Has more than 6 months' recent UK-based primary school experience
- Confident supporting pupils across the primary age range
- Experience supporting SEND is desirable
- Patient, reliable and adaptable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
