Are you a Drama Teacher, Lecturer or industry professional looking for a part-time opportunity within Further Education? We're recruiting a passionate and engaging Drama Lecturer to work within colleges and post-16 settings across Cardiff. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong subject knowledge and experience in Drama, Performing Arts or Theatre who enjoys inspiring young people and supporting them to develop their creative skills.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama and Performing Arts lessons
- Develop students' practical, creative and performance skills
- Deliver lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum and qualification requirements
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Support students with their progression and development
Who We're Looking For
- Relevant degree, vocational qualification or significant industry experience in Drama, Theatre or Performing Arts
- Teaching or training experience within FE, post-16 or education settings desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and practical industry experience
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for inspiring young people through the performing arts
- EWC registration or willingness to obtain registration
