FE Dance Tutor (Level 3 Performing Arts/Dance) needed for an immediate start based in Cardiff
Hours: 14 teaching hours per week (Monday to Thursday) plus 7 hours allocated administration time

Are you an experienced Dance Tutor with a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic professional to join a successful Further Education setting, delivering high-quality Dance provision to Level 3 second-year learners. This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor with both industry and teaching experience to work with motivated learners and support them in developing their practical performance skills and technical expertise.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective Dance lessons to Level 3 students
- Teach and assess practical dance disciplines, including Tap and Jazz
- Support learners in developing technical, creative and performance skills
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality learning activities
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to course administration and learner support activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Relevant industry experience within Dance or Performing Arts
- A recognised PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Tap and Jazz Dance
- Previous experience teaching young people or adults within Further Education, post-16 or vocational settings
- Strong classroom and learner management skills
- A commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last three years
- Willingness to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Further Education workforce
- Right to work in the UK
