We are recruiting a passionate and motivated Chemistry Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Cardiff on a full-time, fixed-term basis starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and confidence in Science within a well-established and collaborative department.

The Role

  • Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based Science lessons
  • Plan, prepare and assess high-quality learning
  • Track pupil progress and support achievement
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently
  • Contribute to a supportive Science department

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Chemistry or Science with strong Chemistry subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching KS3/KS4 (ECTs welcome)
  • EWC registration or willingness to obtain registration
  • Strong classroom management skills
