Aspire People are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in the Peterborough area from approximately November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Studies specialist who is confident teaching across KS4 and KS5 and is looking for a role where they can take ownership of their classes and provide pupils with consistency throughout their studies.

The school is ideally looking for somebody full-time who can become an integral part of the department.

The role will involve:

• -Teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
• -Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Business lessons
• -Taking responsibility for planning, preparation and marking
• -Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
• -Supporting students preparing for examinations and assessments
• -Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• -Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
• -Creating an engaging learning environment that helps students connect Business Studies with the wider world

We are looking for:

• -A qualified Business Studies Teacher / Business Teacher
• -QTS, QTLS or an appropriate teaching qualification
• -Strong subject knowledge within Business Studies
• -Experience teaching KS4 Business Studies
• -The confidence and subject knowledge to teach KS5 Business Studies
• -Experience with planning, marking and assessment
• -Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• -A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• -An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• -References covering the required safeguarding period
