We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Providing 1:1 pupil support where required
  • Supporting pupils with SEN needs
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and resources
  • Supporting positive behaviour management strategies
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

Essential requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Previous UK primary school experience (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
  • Strong communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • SEN experience
  • Phonics programme knowledge
  • Behaviour support experience
