This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with pastoral/behaviour experience who is keen to make a significant contribution to the development of students in a Bury Secondary School. We are looking for a resilient and passionate Head of Year to support pupils achieve their full potential starting ASAP.
You will have high expectations as a Head of Year, supporting students to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. You will promote excellent behaviour and attendance, acting as a key positive support for students in your year group. This position is until Easter in the first instance so you must be available to start ASAP.
About the role:- Support students in an emotional, academic and social capacity
- Uphold excellent standards for behaviour and attendance
- Promote the school's values and ethos
- Deal with any safeguarding concerns appropriately and sensitively
- Work with class teachers and senior leaders to support pupils
