Aspire People are currently recruiting for primary schools looking for confident and nurturing teachers to join their EYFS teams for the new academic year. This would suit a teacher who understands the importance of getting children's first experiences of school right and enjoys creating an engaging environment where children can learn through play, exploration and structured teaching.
The Role:
- Taking responsibility for an EYFS/Reception class
- Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences
- Supporting communication, language and early literacy
- Delivering phonics and early reading activities
- Developing early Maths and number skills
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Using observations and assessment to inform learning
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK primary teaching experience
- Strong EYFS and/or Reception experience
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of phonics and early reading
- Nurturing and patient approach
- Confident classroom management
- Strong understanding of child development
Experience working with children with SEND or additional needs would be advantageous.
