Aspire People are currently recruiting for a primary school looking for a confident teacher to join their team from
September 2026 .
This opportunity would suit a teacher who particularly enjoys working within
KS1 , understands the importance of establishing strong foundations in reading, writing and Maths, and can create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
- The school is ideally looking for someone with previous
- KS1 experience, particularly
Year 1 or Year 2 , although teachers with strong EYFS/ KS1 backgrounds will also be considered.
The Role
- Taking full responsibility for a KS1 class
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the National Curriculum
- Delivering effective phonics and early reading sessions
- Supporting children's development in writing and early Maths
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
- Establishing positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Working closely with support staff and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK primary teaching experience
- Strong KS1 experience
- Good understanding of phonics and early reading
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
