We are currently recruiting a Forest School SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a provision in Bolton. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about outdoor learning and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Assisting with Forest School and outdoor learning sessions
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour
- Working closely with teaching staff and professionals
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Interest or experience in Forest School / outdoor education
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Forest School qualification desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- Full-time, long-term role
