Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students in a variety of subjects.
- Provide one‑on‑one support to children who need additional help, including those with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN).
- Help set up and prepare classroom activities, ensuring resources are available.
- Support children's social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
- Monitor and track the progress of individual students, providing feedback to the teacher.
- Assist with the classroom's day‑to‑day routines, including lunch and break times.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organised classroom environment.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
