Year 6 Teacher for SATs Preparation (6-Week Placement)

Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher with a strong background in SATs preparation? Aspire People is working with 2 schools within a trust to recruit a dedicated and skilled teacher for a short-term placement to support Year 6 pupils in the lead-up to their SATs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students' progress during a critical period.
Position Details:
- Duration: 6-week placement
- Start Date: Week commencing Monday 24th February
- Working Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week
- Hours: 8:00am - 4:15pm (including after-school clubs and dismissal responsibilities)
- Location: Split across two school sites:
- Mornings: B7
- Afternoons: B6
- Breaks: 1 hour each day (15 minutes for travel between sites, 45 minutes for lunch)
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching Year 6, particularly with SATs preparation
- Ability to deliver high-quality whole-class teaching, targeted intervention, and 1:1 support
- Commitment to the full 6-week placement period
- Willingness to work across two school sites
- Strong organisational skills and flexibility
- Confidence in managing both classroom teaching and after-school duties
- Driving license and own mode of transport
