Year 3 Teaching Assistant - South Yardley, Birmingham
We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Yardley, Birmingham, supporting pupils in Year 3.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a strong passion for supporting children and helping them reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support both in the classroom and with individual pupils.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across a Year 3 classroom
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
- Supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
- Creating a positive, inclusive and encouraging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable
- Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is advantageous
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting children's learning
This role is available to start ASAP and is ongoing, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position within a primary school setting.
