Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEMH Science Teacher to join a specialist provision in the B14 area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher who has experience supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and is committed to making a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to secondary-aged pupils
  • Support students with SEMH needs to achieve their academic potential
  • Create a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies
  • Work closely with pastoral teams, support staff and parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Previous experience working with SEMH students is desirable
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
