Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Secondary SEN English Teacher to join a supportive school in the B17 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role
- Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary-aged students with SEN
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning needs
- Support students to achieve their academic and personal goals
- Create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and parents
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Experience working with SEN students is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
