Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Year 6 Booster Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rednal. This is a part-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027, working 3 days per week. The school is flexible regarding which three days are worked, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking a better work-life balance while continuing to make a meaningful impact on pupil progress.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Year 6 team to provide targeted intervention and booster support for pupils, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare effectively for SATs and the transition to secondary school.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted booster sessions to Year 6 pupils in small groups and, where appropriate, on a 1:1 basis.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence and competence in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Work closely with class teachers to identify learning gaps and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Assist in preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs through focused teaching and revision activities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
  • Contribute to raising attainment and supporting positive outcomes for all learners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs requirements.
  • Experience delivering interventions or booster sessions that accelerate pupil progress.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
