Are you an experienced Office Manager looking for work within a primary school? It is MANDATORY that applicants have OFFICE MANAGER experience and be proficient on SIMS/ARBOR/BROMCOM. You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00am & 4:30pm. There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the school year and there may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school you work at, although this is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Office Management & Supervision: Directing the daily operation of the school office, including organising, supporting, and managing administrative staff.
- Implementing and improving office systems and procedures.
- Administrative Support: Providing high-level administrative support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Governing Body.
- Student and Data Management: Managing the school database (e.g., MIS systems like SIMS, Arbor) to maintain student records, attendance, and admissions.
- Financial Administration: Handling school finances, such as managing, reconciling, and recording income, as well as overseeing school purchasing.
- Communication & Reception: Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and parents, managing school correspondence, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensuring all visitors are checked in compliance with safeguarding procedures. Maintaining adherence to data protection (GDPR) and confidentiality requirements.
- HR Support: Assisting with staff recruitment, including processing DBS checks and maintaining personnel records.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF 56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
