We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in the Quinton area from September 2026. This is a full-time, ongoing role supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate must be confident supporting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs and able to build positive relationships within the classroom. The role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Delivering targeted interventions
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
  • Encouraging engagement and keeping children on task
  • Supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a school, nursery, or support worker setting
  • A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • The ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday-Friday
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
