An ambitious secondary school within Star Academies is seeking a Subject Lead for Art to provide strong curriculum and departmental leadership. This role suits an outstanding Art teacher ready to step into, or continue in, middle leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead Art across KS3 and KS4, including curriculum, assessment, and standards
- Drive high-quality teaching and learning through coaching and support
- Use data to raise attainment, particularly for disadvantaged pupils
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and enrichment opportunities
- Support KS2-KS3 transition within the subject
Person Specification
- QTS and a relevant degree (2:2 or above)
- Proven track record of strong or outstanding Art teaching
