Are you a Sports Coach, Youth Worker, Residential Support Worker or Behaviour Mentor looking to take your skills into education?

Aspire People is working in partnership with a number of Primary and Specialist SEND schools across Stockport who are looking to appoint confident, resilient and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors and SEMH Teaching Assistants from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children who require additional emotional and behavioural support to succeed in school.

The Role

You'll work closely with pupils who may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism or behavioural challenges, supporting them on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.

Your role will be to build positive relationships, promote emotional regulation and help pupils overcome barriers to learning so they can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a: Sports Coach Youth Worker Residential Support Worker Behaviour Mentor Children's Support Worker Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant with behaviour experience

We're looking for people who: Can build positive, professional relationships with children and young people.

Remain calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.

Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Are passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
