Aspire People are proud to be working with a supportive primary school in Bedford as they launch a brand new Pre-School in January 2026. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new Early Years setting from the ground up and play a meaningful role in its long-term success.
This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years professional who enjoys taking initiative, supporting others, and creating environments where young children thrive. You will be trusted to contribute ideas, support best practice, and help set high standards across the provision.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the daily running of the Pre-School
- Delivering high-quality EYFS provision for children aged 3+
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (DfE approved)
- At least 2 years' experience within an EYFS setting
- Confidence in safeguarding, child development and inclusive practice
- A proactive, team-focused approach and a genuine passion for Early Years
Bonus (But Not Essential):
- Level 4 or 5 qualification
- DSL, Paediatric First Aid or Forest School training
- Experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role
