Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join Aspire People to work in a school in the Stoke-On-Trent area, working in any year across Key Stage 1, starting this January.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Help in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
- Support students during lessons, encouraging active participation and engagement.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Supervise and support students during break times and outings.
- Collaborate with other staff members to share ideas and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
