Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for a new challenge? Aspire People are currently recruiting for School Administrators to work in local Primary and Secondary Schools. It is essential that applicants have previous school administration experience and be proficient on SIMS and/or Arbor. You must also be willing to work on a temporary basis and work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. There will be full‑time and part‑time positions available throughout the school year, which run for varying lengths of time. There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the schools, although this is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

  • Inputting details onto SIMS/Arbor
  • Answering phones and taking messages
  • Typing of letters and memos
  • Filing, faxing and photocopying
  • Dealing with parents and pupils

Qualifications

  • Previous school administration experience
  • Proficiency in SIMS and/or Arbor
  • Willing to work on a temporary basis between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Ability to handle full‑ and part‑time positions throughout the school year
  • Proactive, hardworking, able to meet strict deadlines, not afraid to take on new tasks, able to multi‑task, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to pay for a new one
  • Must be able to register with the agency, including providing right‑to‑work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS (cost 56.49 unless already registered)
