Salary: Competitive daily rate, 200- 270, depending on experience
We are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Maths and Science Teacher to work in a school in the Ealing area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons and support pupils in achieving their academic potential.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths and/or Science lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations, where appropriate.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Promote positive behaviour, student engagement and a strong classroom learning culture.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or Science.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school is desirable.
- Confident classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine commitment to student progress.
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to meet safeguarding requirements.
