Welsh Cover Supervisor Needed - RCT
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Welsh language skills who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain or continue experience within a secondary school environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Covering lessons across the secondary school
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task
- Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment
- Managing behaviour confidently and consistently
- Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
- Working across different subjects as required
- Liaising with teaching staff regarding lesson plans and student progress
We're Looking For
- Fluent Welsh language skills
- Experience working with young people or within an education setting
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, adaptable and able to work independently
- EWC registration or willingness to obtain
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
