1:1 Teaching Assistant - Phonics Support | Northfield | ASAP Start | Long-Term Role Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide targeted phonics support at a welcoming primary school in Northfield.
This is a full-time, long-term position with an ASAP start, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a child s literacy development.
The
Role: Provide 1:1 support for a pupil requiring phonics intervention.
Deliver engaging phonics sessions to improve reading, writing, and communication skills.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

- Will
Have: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
A good understanding of phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc., Little Wandle, or similar.
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
The right to work in the UK.
