Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant with extensive experience working with children who have additional needs? I am recruiting for a school in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking to appoint an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant. This role will start as soon as possible and is full-time. The school is eager to grow and values innovative TA’s who brighten up the children’s day and make them feel part of the class and meet their needs. Working with students with SEN is a rewarding career path and offers a chance to form a bond with a student and play an instrumental role in providing them with the best education possible.
Key Qualifications
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or an equivalent for ratio purposes)
- Experience working with children who have additional needs
- Experience within a primary school (preferably 6+ months)
- Updated and clean DBS on the update service
- Passionate and willing to support students no matter what they need
- The ability to inspire children
- Ability to work as part of a team
