Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3-5
  • Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to engage students and promote progress
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and development
  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources
  • Provide support and intervention for students who need additional help
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and wider enrichment activities
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour, attendance, and punctuality
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

  • UK QTS
  • A specialism in Physics is desirable. Strong Biology and Chemistry applicants will be considered

  • Experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level is desirable but not essential for the right candidate - ECT applications are welcomed
