QTS SEND teacher for a friendly SEND school (teaching Secondary age students performing at a Primary level) in Scunthorpe. Are you a passionate and dedicated QTS teacher? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a full-time teacher at a friendly SEND school in Scunthorpe.

To make your life a little bit easier, all planning is done by school.

  • Position: QTS Secondary SEND Teacher (will consider early career teachers), Monday to Friday. Full time (5 days). Term time only.
  • Start: Immediate
  • Location: Scunthorpe
  • Salary: 160-180£ per day
  • Working hours: 8.15-16.00
  • Subject: Maths, English and Science

As a full-time teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a small group of children with varying levels of abilities. Working closely with several dedicated class teaching assistants assigned to the pupils, you will ensure that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

You will be expected to collaborate with the Primary, Secondary and SENCO team to develop a cohesive and challenging education program for the children and plan your lessons. Your creativity, adaptability, and strong communication skills will be key in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant teaching qualification (valid UK QTS) and have experience working with primary and secondary school-aged children. You should be passionate about education, committed to the growth and development of your pupils, and have a strong understanding of the national curriculum. SEND/SEMH experience will be extremely useful in this position.
