Are you a IT Technician looking for work in a school environment?
It is MANDATORY that applicants have IT Technician experience and be proficient in looking after school networks, installing, ordering and maintaining software and hardware and provide technical support to teachers and pupils.
You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00am & 4:30pm.
This is a full time role, throughout the school year and there may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school you work at, although this is not guaranteed.
As a School IT Technician your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assist and respond quickly if students or staff need help in the classroom when using the network, internet and software.
- Maintain, set up and test ICT equipment, including related equipment.
- Provide support to all ICT users within the school, reacting to Helpdesk queries.
- Assist the ICT Manager with the set up, management and monitoring of the school's email provision, access, firewall and filtering.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF £56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
