Aspire People are working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Monmouthshire to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a long-term placement starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive school that genuinely values its staff. The role:
- Teaching Maths across Key Stages (KS3-KS4, with KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and positive learning environments
- Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
- Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
- Be reliable, professional, and committed to pupil progress
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
