A wonderful school in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will take full class responsibility, supported by a strong teaching team, a welcoming SLT, and a vibrant, caring school community.
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and work closely with support staff to ensure every child achieves their best.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- A creative, reflective, and committed teacher passionate about primary education
- Strong classroom management and a positive approach to teamwork
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- British QTS or equivalent
- An in-depth understanding of the National Curriculum
- An understanding of child protection, safeguarding policy and procedure
- The capacity to identify and target specific, individual needs
