SEN Teaching Assistants Required – Solihull. Aspire People are recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in specialist educational settings across Solihull. We are working with a specialist provision for students aged 4‐19, where all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The setting supports students with a wide range of additional needs and requires compassionate, patient, and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to help pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting students with their learning, communication, and social development
- Supporting pupils with personal, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
- Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, support work, youth work, or similar backgrounds welcome)
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
