This is a fast‐paced role requiring someone who can confidently manage multiple administrative duties while supporting staff, pupils and parents to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily reception duties and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies
  • Handling safeguarding‐related queries and ensuring correct school procedures are followed
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records using school management systems
  • Supporting attendance monitoring, admissions and pupil data updates
  • Managing phone calls, emails and general correspondence professionally
  • Supporting the wider office team with administrative tasks and scheduling
  • Working across school systems including ARBOR, SIMS and BROMCOM
  • Assisting with compliance and GDPR‐related administrative processes

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a school office or a busy administrative environment
  • Strong working knowledge of school systems (ARBOR, SIMS, BROMCOM desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Confident handling safeguarding processes and confidential information
