Aspire People is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wednesbury. About the Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils and teaching staff to provide tailored support both in the classroom and, where required, on a 1:1 basis. You will help pupils to access learning, develop their confidence and independence, and overcome barriers to education. The role will involve supporting children with a range of additional needs, so patience, resilience and a caring approach are essential.

  • Has experience working with children or young people
  • Ideally has experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Is patient, caring and resilient

Previous experience in a school or SEND environment is desirable, but transferable experience will also be considered.
