The Role
Aspire People are looking for a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join an SNRB setting in Monmouth on a full-time, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Special Educational Needs (SEN) or complex needs, who is looking for a rewarding role within a specialist educational environment.
The Role Includes
- Supporting pupils with ALN/SEND throughout the school day
- Providing individual and small-group support with learning and development
- Supporting communication, interaction and emotional regulation
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Assisting with classroom activities and personalised learning
- Working closely with teachers and the wider specialist support team
We're Looking For
- Experience working with ALN/SEND is highly desirable
- Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting
- Patient, calm and nurturing approach
- Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Understanding of different learning, communication and behavioural needs
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
