Immediate start. Are you a qualified Level 3 SEN TA looking for a new challenge in Birmingham? I am currently recruiting for a strong Teaching Assistant for a school in Sutton Coldfield. This role will be supporting a child in Y1 with SEND, on a full-time, one to one basis. There will also be on occasion the chance to lead phonics lessons. This role is due to start immediately and could potentially last a full academic year for the successful candidate.
The school encompasses a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to lead their own learning. You will encourage this ethos through your ability to be calm and patient and provide creative intervention.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN on a one to one basis
- Experience of MAKATON is preferable but not essential
- Excellent working knowledge of the KS 1 curriculum
- Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
