We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a school in Sutton Coldfield from September 2026 – July 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Work in Key Stage 1 on a general basis.
- Support children who are in Key Stage 1 but working to EYFS level.
- Take children for breaks from the classroom and provide outdoor play and sensory sessions.
- Build strong relationships with pupils.
Qualifications:
- Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable).
- Enthusiastic, well‑motivated and talented classroom practitioner.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
- Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will require you to apply for a new DBS).
- Provide at least 2 references covering a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge.
