We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in both mainstream schools with SEN hubs and specialist SEN schools across Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Responsibilities
- Provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Additional Needs Include:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Complex needs
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
