Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary School St Helens September 2026 Start Aspire People are recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in St Helens from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

Working closely with class teachers, you'll play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential through high-quality classroom support and targeted interventions.

The Role Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Deliver targeted small-group interventions in Maths, English, Reading and Phonics Work alongside class teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff The Ideal Candidate Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Has recent experience working within a UK primary school Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum Is confident delivering intervention sessions to small groups Has a positive and consistent approach to behaviour management Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting children's education Why Work with Aspire People?
