Nursery Assistant - Full-Time & Part-Time

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Assistants to join our friendly nursery team in St Albans.
We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified candidates. Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare setting, school, or with children is essential.
The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children with their daily routines, learning and development
- Planning and taking part in fun and engaging activities
- Helping to create a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Supporting children's individual needs
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Reliable and responsible
- Friendly and approachable
- Passionate about working with children
- A good team player
- Able to communicate well with children, parents and colleagues
- Experienced in working with children or within a nursery/childcare environment
- A childcare qualification is desirable but not essential, as we are happy to consider candidates with relevant childcare or children's experience.
