Have you recently completed a Speech Language Therapy degree and are looking to gain valuable experience working with children?Aspire People are working with primary and specialist SEND schools across South Manchester and Stockport to recruit enthusiastic graduates to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

This role is ideal for graduates considering a future career in Speech Language Therapy, Educational Psychology or SEND education.

The Role You'll support children by: Delivering speech and language activities under the guidance of school staff.

Encouraging communication and social interaction.

Supporting pupils with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Working 1:1 and with small intervention groups.

Helping pupils develop confidence and independence.

Supporting classroom learning throughout the school day.

The Ideal Candidate Degree in Speech Language Therapy or a related subject.

Passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Excellent communication skills.

Patient, compassionate and enthusiastic approach.

Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
