Your transferable skills in behaviour management, communication, emotional regulation and building positive relationships are highly valued within SEND education.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Encouraging engagement with learning.
  • Managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies.
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and independence.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals.
  • Providing personal care where required.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience working with vulnerable children or adults.
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.
