The Role
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Encouraging engagement with learning.
- Managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies.
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals.
- Providing personal care where required.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience working with vulnerable children or adults.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.
