Aspire People are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a compassionate and patient individual who has recent experience supporting pupils with additional needs and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and communication difficulties
- Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
- Helping pupils access the curriculum with confidence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Recent experience working within a UK primary school in the last 2 years
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about inclusive education
